Any experiences? Got an “old” B&W Zeppelin with the 30 pin connector; using streaming/ internet radio more and more so the iPod classic that plugs into it is heading towards redundancy. The Bluetooth jobbies are a similar price to a 30 pin to lightning adapter but maybe neater and more flexible _if_ it actually works… Thoughts?

Anecdotally based on a sample size of “one,” they work 100% of the time.

It’s exactly what I did. OH has a Sony dock with a 30-pin connector. I picked up a BT receiver from, uh, Tesco I think, for very little money (I think it’s branded “Technika” or some such, it’s the same brand as all their other AV doohickies. It’s a little black box about the size of a matchbox and Just Works.

I bought this for my docking station and it works a treat!

Fix the ipod classic if it one with the good DAC chip. They’re the audiophiles player of choice.

I’ve got a few knocking about, one in the car as despite being fairly new it didn’t do bluetooth audio streaming, a couple to convert old docks.

They all work fine – I just went for whatever I could find on ebay or amazon at the time.
