  • Blue Groove Stick-E 2.1" front tyre: too much for XC?

Thinking of sticking one of these on the front for recreational (but fast and competetive) group XC rides, as I am a bit of a nervy cornerer. My concern is, will it be too draggy for XC? Anyone got any experience?

I will try lowering my front tyre pressure on my ride tonight before I go for it though.

Not sure if this is a wind up, but if not … I reckon you'll be okay.

TBH I rarely use a tyre as narrow as 2.1. Benefits of bigger volume tyres and softer compounds outweigh any disadvantages IMHO. Especially on the front.

Too much? No. Put a 2.35 on there.

I've got a 2.1 Blue groove dtc on my fs bike and it's never given me any cause for concern on a variety of terrain and conditions.

BG 2.35 stick-e on the front here as well. Confident cornering is your new friend, enjoy!
