pretty awesome i reckon, he must 'map' distance and height as well as the features of the terrain, some of the drops to ledges he does are impressive for anyone.

I was looking at a documentary about blind cyclists – they make click noises to echo locate, which is pretty amazing, but this guy beats them by a long way. Stunning.
