    when I try to download BB app world it says that my device software doesn't support it and need to download Ver. 4.2 or higher – the Bold 9700 runs ver. 5.0!!

    anyone else had this problem. how did you solve it?

    And before any smart asses say – I don't want an iPhone!

    apparently I have found the solution – you have to buy into the Blackberry internet services! I only want to download free apps

    yes you need BIS who are you with? normally comes with plan or did you buy a used phone?

    Vodafone, its a work phone so they pay for it. apparently the BIS is £5 pm?? might have to give Vodafone a ring tomorrow

    If its a monthly contract yes its included, it maybe the fact that it wasn't activated as mine wasn't. A call to customer services 191 should sort it out.
