    Great programme – though smashing up a Land Rover seemed a bit extreme – why couldn’t they give it to the Afghan army?

    I saw this too, excellent. As for the landy- I’m certain that short of melting it down/ crushing it there would have been salvageable parts.

    It was good to see that our money was put to good use.
