    And wondered if anyone knew of any good riding nearby?

    It's in Winster. I'm not at all familiar with the area, buy guess just looking at the map that there must be some decent stuff around…

    Plenty of riding near there, but can be VERY boggy this time of year. Would be worth getting hold of the vertebrate white peak book. Also quite a few local routes listed here… Brassington routes
    The better drained stuff in the area is towards Beeley/Chatsworth or Cromford/Ambergate.
