    I love all the great new bikes coming onto the market at the moment it seems like such a brilliant time to be a mountain biker,or is it just me?

    Can’t say I’m overly excited at where things are right now. There have been more interesting/exciting times for those of us who’ve been at this for too long. However, everything on my Christmas list had some sort of bike tie-in.

    The last couple of years I’ve tried to concentrate on riding more new places and not buy
    new shiny stuff – just replace bits when its worn out.

    Not brought a mtb mag for a few years now.
