Any suggestions for 1-2 night trip in the borders. Doesn’t have to be a circuit but should ideally have a nice pub or two:)

done this one before: selkirk up around Tibbie shiels, dolalr law to Peebles for the night, back via GT, innerleithen climb to minch moor then 3 brethren.

That sounds smashing I can do it from my door. Worth staying at pub or go wild nearby?

Don’t pay to camp at Tibbie Shiels – its camping facilities are almost non existent. Just wild camp up the loch a bit and you can still use the pub.

tibbie shiels looks good but website says the bar is residents and campers only mon-thu. prob going midweek so not so good.
