Are there any bargains on bike bags around at the moment?

The GF and I could do with a couple for taking bikes to NZ. Or are we better off blagging some cardboard form the LBS?

Don’t know about discounts but defo get one with wheels is my advice. Enjoy NZ.

Best advice is go blag a cardboard box that a bike of similar dimensions to yours came in. Then pack your bike with plenty of bubble wrap and seal with copious duck tape. Voila, your bike is fit to fly and to be honest it’s easier getting a mountain bike to fit – most bike bags are for road cycles.

I just got one off the evil bay for £36 delivered.
Now’t flash, a bag big enough to fit a bike in.
If it were to be used to transport abroad I would use some cardboard for protection.

Brand x from crc recently for £65. Has wheels and wheel bags and took my mtn easily.
