    Hi,

Got a few options open to me…

    1) Buy a bike from Canyon and ship to Finland
    2) Buy a bike from Wiggle and ship to Finland
    3) Bring bike parts in a suitcase and assemble a bike when moved out there
    4) Buy from a Finnish bike shop
    5) Buy from the states (looking at Mountain Cycle)

-Option 1 has great value, but still expensive
-Options 1 and 2 seem to have decent postage rates to Finland
-Option 2 has quite a good range of products
-Option 3 is bespoke, but I’d be in trouble if I ordered the wrong size
-Option 4 is expensive and not much choice

Can you offer any feedback for a guy soon to be moving to Finland? Any experiences to do with buying from US/ Germany/ Canyon would be most helpful.

    cheers,
    HR

Doesn’t matter from who or where, but I reckon you’ll be needing a fatbike!!

No advice on the bikes, however, I was speaking to a friend in Helsinki yesterday and they still have snow.

Canyon have a good sales organisation in Sweden, you could always go through them, however the pound/kr rate is not so good for you guys at the moment.

There is even a very good discount on frames for those with a racing license.

Nokian Extreme 296’s would be on my shopping list. 🙂
