I’m looking for a new bike to actually ride to work, it’s a 13 mile commute through London.

Also want something that can be used for after work rides down here, for an RRP of £620 is there anything better than the Ribble Winter Audax thing with Tiagra 9 speed and full guards included?

If so post a link will you

You cant go wrong with that IMO. You can get a Defy 4 2010 for about £350 if you look around now, decent bikes IMO.

I’ve had 3 Ribble bikes/frames over the years, despite the customer service naysayers I’ve never had any problems, just don’t expect it to be instant.

Slight caveat, those blue winter frames used to be designed for 23mm tyres, 25mm and mudguards was very tight/required creativity. Current ones may be the same but if you wanted bigger comfier tyres, thats the only downside.

Also, they used to size up a bit larger than you’d think – plenty of Ribble bikes on the road, someone I’m sure has one near you you can swing a leg over to be sure

But on B2W I thought you couldn’t get discounted things
