Just get to it with a hacksaw is is there a better way?

fine toothed hacksaw blade, outside and wearing a mask.

Smallest teeth/highest number of of teeth on the blade you can get (look for TPI numbers on the packet, bigger is better)
Use a couple of headset spacers and some duct-tape as a guide.

I just used my normal small-toothed hacksaw blade. Don’t breathe the dust!

A reckon a lightsabre will lead to delamination later on. Probably best to avoid IMO…

and make lines of the dust with your credit card then snort it through a fifty !
