No idea about cameras, just want one thats automatic, good picture,has a flash,large viewing screen, built in chargable battery and decent memory.

Dont know if all the above is viable for a ton.

Canon Ixus 95is at John Lewis? I like the pictures ixus cameras (ixii?) take and they are easy to connect and download.

There's Nikon Coolpix and Panasonic Lumix being advertised in Curry's for around £89 at the mo', can't go wrong with either, or the Ixus for that matter. There's new cameras being introduced so older models are going real cheap at the moment.
