My wife is thinking about selling a bling Omega that she inherited a few years ago and so is just going to take it to some local jewellers. Is there anything better she could do? Auctions, specialists sites, bike forums?

I don’t really think it is stealth ad material. It is really quite bling which is why I am a little bit scared of just taking it to a local jewellers. Of course I have some really nice condition 26″ frames….. 😀

On the basis of the one valuation she already received, quite possibly, although I believe they run the ethical coffee shop next door.

At auction you’ll be looking at a 15-25% sellers premium, and the buyer will also be looking at paying a similar premium , each +VAT, so you won’t get near it’s true value…

Which model ? Roughly how old? Depending on what it is, I know a quite a few watch enthusiasts, with at least one looking for a women’s omega. Pm if I can help.
