I’m gutted. I’ve lost my trusty Garmin 705 after almost 7 years of constant use. I’m not sure whether to claim on the insurance yet. It really depends on what kind of deal I can get on a replacement. I only need the unit and maps. I’ve got all the other bits and pieces, so it might not be much more than the excess/premium increase. Anyone know of any good deals at the moment?

Wiggle seem to be selling the base unit for about £230 at the mo and there was some kind of amazing map deal a few guys on here linked to recently. THink it was about a tenner for 1:50000 of whole UK.
