Just as the title says really – i’ve just ordered a much needed replacement chain & cassette & was thinking about getting a 40 T sprocket at the same time ( knocking on a bit / lazy ) .
Hope sound to be the best , but then there’s loads of others to choose from – so am i missing out on a hidden gem if i buy Hope ?

Got a hope 40 and One up 42, can’t really tell the difference. The one up gives me a better range though – using the RAD cage but SRAM works fine apparently

Superstar one here. No problems to report and cheap

Got a Hope and a Superstar and honestly don’t notice a difference. They both just work.

£30 for superstar certainly works for me !
