    ….recommendations please for an alternative to the Alma 29er S50. Budget circa £2k.

    I already have a Swift so please don’t recommend one! 🙂

    Looking for a decent HT 2x 10, preferably carbon frame.

    focus raven 29er just lauched(see bikeradat), 2000 euros for the xt version. dont know when its out.

    I have just bought a Yeti Big Top frame and with a bit of shopping around have managed to get all the bits for the build for about £2300

    XT group
    Reba fork from On-One
    Stans Arch on Pro 2s
    I went XTR brakes so could save some cash there.

    I bought this in March. Pretty awesome. Comes in at £2199. Would never go back to a 26’er. I wanted the new Cannondale Flash, but seems hard to get hold of. At the end of the day, its carbon and got proper size wheels. What’s not to like 😀
