  • bearings size for my rear hub

I tried to service my rear hub this week end, but failed. My problem is replacing the bearings on the freehub cassette body and the other side. All bearings fell down on the floor, and the left-hand side ones get mixed with the right hand side ones. There is no written name on the hub. After cleaning all bearings, cups and cone, I can fit 13 bearing balls on each side. This number is a bit suspicious. From a quick browse on the shimano website, the number of bearing seems to be 9 usually, which is definitely not enough for my hub. I tried 13, but it makes a dreadful noise, then went back to 12, and still similar dreadful noise. How many bearings balls do you reckon they are? Should it be the same number on the left and right handside?
    Thanks for your help.
