Bit of a broad question – sorry.

Fancy going camping this weekend, does anyone know any good campsites in this area? Not particularly fussed where exactly. I’m thinking somewhere like Malverns / Shropshire , Ross on wye,

Very happy with a basic site, with a relaxed attitude to rules. Would be good to have some stuff of interest very locally – e.g. a river to play in for the kids, a couple of local pubs etc.

Also good walking, biking etc. in the area would be a bonus.

Any tips?

Stream to play in (safe for kids)
2 pubs within 15 min walk
firepit and plenty of dead wood
twin longdrop loos
middle of the Black Mountains with all the hiking and biking you can use.
Apparently the #1 best place in the WORLD for star gazing 🙂
Total silence.
Cheap!
Easy to reach
No phone signal so very relaxing!
