Is it ok to use a 36t bash ring with a 32t middle ring or will there be chain clearance issues?

it’ll be fine unless you’re running an outer ring.

Surely you’d have to run the bash as the outer ring? Can’t run a 32t middle an outer and a bash!

Cheers, outter ring woudl obviously be replaced by the bash, it’d be interesting to see someone fit a 36t bash between a 32t middle and a 44t outer

Cluckin bell, there is some rubbish spouted on here 😉

Yup, you can run a 36t bash, no problems. Nothing to do with clearance issues, it just means it has a slightly larger diameter than a 32t bash. Same width as all the others. Just remember to adjust the H-stops on your front mech, shorten your chain and you’ll be fine.
