Group of us are doing the Bay ride, with a trip back to Bolton added on for Charity on September.

Given the appalling provision for bikes on trains, we are struggling to get ourselves and bikes up there.

One idea is I can get a works van, drive the bikes up, meet the lads who are travelling by train, then do the ride. Travel back up the next day to pick up the van. Only problem is all our vans are brand new and I dont really just want to leave it in the street all day and overnight.

Can anyone recommend somewhere that may be a bit more secure or a secure car park we could leave it in please ?

In all fairness barrow isn’t that bad for crime so I wouldn’t worry about your vans overnight. Park in a residential area off abbey road such as hawcoat etc if you want to be sure.
