I’m probably asking a silly question here but I’m wondering when would I be ok to get back out on the bike after Lateral colateral and medial colateral ligament partial tear. It’s been 3 week and two days now and apart from a slight wobble going up and down stairs and a sharp pain when getting up from a seat I feel ok. I have a sick note till the 1st of April and I’m awaiting a Mri scan. Even tho I’m mostly pain free is it wise to get back on. I have done a short trip on motorbike which went fine just ached for a few hours after.

I would suggest your physio or doctor is the best person to answer that question.

    It’ll be fine*.

MTFU and get yourself down some black runs at your local trail centre**.

*I am not qualified to offer advice in anyway and this should not be considered as good advice.

**Still not qualified, but I’m keen which counts for something I think.

Well sick note runs out then and I’m seeing the doctor again on the 25th March

You should probably wait until you’re sick note runs out and you’re back at work.

    Else you may get fired.
