Avid juicy 3, fitted new pads, and they rubbed, tried repeatedly to stop the rub, took to bike shop and they fixed them perfect, so what do i need to do or not do , to make the new set work properley.

Could check the alignment of the caliper, reduce the amount of fluid in the caliper/system so the pads are further out, check the rotors aren’t warped…however, personally, I just ride the bike as, having had a couple of sets of Juicy 5, I find they settle down after a ride or two and once bedded in.

Just literally sat here after replacing the pads tonight in my Juicy 5s…they are now rubbing and have bugger all power. The rear wheel had to be prised back in given the gap between the pads was narrower than the rotor. Not bothered though as I’m sure after one ride tomorrow they’ll be fine.
