In the process of trying to clean and loosen up my AVID BB7 caliper I was turning the outboard adjuster in and out. I seem to have wound it too far in and it will not wind back out. The adjuster still winds but has no effect on the piston which pushes the plate which in turn pushes the brake pad. Basically I've taken it apart and can't get it back together! Any tips? Anyone know where to see an exploded view of the parts?

I did the same to mine and found that it would go back on the winding screw if you wound it and applied some pressure to the piston with a suitable tool. Bit fiddly though!

Pull the red adjuster dial off. Turn the metal pin that sticks through the adjuster with a pair of pliers until it sticks out enought to re locate on the red adjuster when you push it back on.
