Anyone know if there any clearance issues trying to use Avid BB5s on Pompetamine frame or all ok ?

onone appear to have to run 180mm rotors to get clearance, is that right ?

I run 160mm centrelocks without clearrance issues. I think 6 bolt discs will cause the bolt heads to hit the fork.

Interesting – I run 160mm centrelocks with BB7’s and it’s all pretty tight around the rear caliper/chain can’t be too long. Larger rotors would give a bit would give more wiggle room…..

I run 160 BB5’s with centerlocks on mine and they are fine.

Not really relevant but yes the bolt heads for 6-bolt rotors can foul the fork. Get skinnier bolts or file some paint off the fork to solve it 🙂

    160mm w BB7s on mine
The only thing to note is that the cam arm when disconnected from the inner wire will rest against the seatstay. However when connected and under tension it stops short of the chainstay, held by the handlebar brake lever stop instead.
