Avid 5 Front Brake Rotor Upgrade.... HELP

I think I've ordered the wrongs part

Or am I being retarded during install ? No matter how I fiddle with it it doesn't seem to fit. Anyone got a snap of there setup if you have done the same as I want.

My old man wants to upgrade his front brake rotor from 160 to 203.

I ordered these parts:

Avid Mount Adaptor Front Post 203mm

Avid Clean Sweep G2 Rotor

arrow is the top of the adapter..other than that all looks ok...

oh and the sticky out bits on the adapter should face outward to attach the caliper to.
Bolt adapter to fork with supplied bolts, bolt caliper to adapter using conical washers that caliper came with.

you don't say what the problem is your having?

arrow to inside of the fork and facing up (so you can't see it when looking at the bike from the left hand side).

Have you got all the mounting bolts and washers? Avid callipers don't make direct contact with the adaptor - they have a convex and concave washer between. If you don't have those, the calliper will hit the disc before the adaptor....

Once again the STW massive comes up trumps, just upgraded my Elixir from 160 to 203 and needed the advice from here to do it. Cheers!!
