What a game. England playing rugby as I (and I'm sure most England fans) have wanted them to for years. Awesome.

Yeah good performance by England (when could anyone last say that?).

Even the Aussie commentators agreed England were worth the win. Attitude was the difference – as everyone seemed to agree.

Now if only the overpaid, underperforming, nancy boys could do the same….

But the amount of replies this post has generated shows the relative lack of interest in rugby compared to the beautiful* game.

Flash dont think it was that dire, we got beaten by a better team. The same old story of mistakes and turnovers which the AB's punished ruthlessly. They are looking very good I know the paddies lost a man but they were really walloped.

England had to win and they did but dont go mad, Australia wont be so bad in the scrum again and with out that platform England wouldnt have had a prayer.

Still think Australia for the WC, Kiwis will just buckle under the pressure at home.

Australia have been hammered two matches running in the scrum – why not again?
