Well I’ve just arrived in Sheffield to visit the parents to find my mum has bought an F-Type S. After the initial shock, I’ve been out for a drive and I can’t imagine anyone *needing* any more car. It’s comfortable, it’s quick, it’s gorgeous, it holds the road supremely well, the in-car entertainment is superb, it is (at the moment, at least in coupe form) fairly exclusive. Jaguar have really excelled themselves.

And this is from me who – up until now – has had a stripped down, suped up, highly strung, mental RX7 as the best car I’ve ever driven. At the moment, I’d take the Jag over another RX7.

How original, they’ve never had a wildly OTT chase between an Aston and a Jag before…

i like it….though i still think the original looks beautiful its just this one looks a bit more modern without being too OTT.

My own money would go on a GTR. I’m not old enough for an Aston and certainly not old enough for a Jag . A guy a work (bet he’s 65) has an f type he says the build quality is shocking.

Front engined RWD V8 sports/gt for £100k? …..I think my money* would go on one of these.

Astons were nice before the war – all the later ones are a bit naff.
