    That Shimano Mud Flap looks like something that’s just not needed.

    My new Ass Saver saved me a very wet bum on a very wet road ride 2 days ago. 10/10.

    Thanks to rocketdog and asssavers – mine turned up last week and have been in use on two of the bikes, really neat idea and light enough to leave stuffed in bag just in case

    bit like an Ass-saver, then? not needed, but i’ve not had to clear mud or fettle with the front mech on my bike for years. also stops it freezing up in winter. costs naff all. weighs naff all…

    Staffan, they arrived on Saturday. Looking at the postmark you sent them the day after I ordered them so the delay was the fault of the postal service not yours. Thanks

    I’ve just ordered a couple – they sound like an awesome idea.

    Went for the Ass-savers ones as I prefer to support the inventor rather than the imitator.

    Hi Staffan.
    Which colours are the recycled ones? Is black?

    Cheers!

    That shimano mud flap is no use to me, non of my MTBs has a front mech

    @AlexSimon
    Yes, thats correct! The black is 100% recycled. The white and invisible are recycled sometimes but not always so we can’t guarantee it. We use recycled when we can get our hands on it!

    Used my Ass Saver first time today on the road bike. Like it help to keep me bottom dry when I went through some standing water 🙂

    Used my Extra Wide Brooks Ass Saver today for the first time and after yesterdays monsoon my ass was saved, I could feel my Fat Tyres flicking up the water further up my back and the back of my head.
    It would have made the 100 miles very squidgy without it.

    10/10

    A friend was using the Ass Savers on his road bike, but i’ve been using the Fendor Bendor from holland http://www.witindustries.nl. It folds almost as small as the ass-savers but actually works more like a real fender. down side is you can not put it under the seat.

    that’s interesting, won’t fit a wishbone rear though i guess
