  • Are there any viable suspension forks for a kids 20" bike?

Watched my five year olds bike turn into a bit of a bucking bronco yesterday at glentress due to a combination of the small wheel size and rigid forks.

Are there any viable options for front forks for a bike this small?

Not really as they all weigh a ton and barely work.

IME the “suspension” does not really work on any fork that size

Shame, I had just found these which being an air fork I had hoped I could get working for his weight

Biggest volume tyres you can find, low pressures, seems to be the cheapest solution.

There must be. They’re on this kids 20″ Commencal.
I saw loads of little rippers aboard them in the Alps recently.

White brothers do/did an 80mm travel fork for recumbents.

One came on the lil shredder bike minilugz had. called the rustler. worked wel, but a bit heavy.
