    About to go out for a ride, rear XT pads are very low, as above can I used Deore pads (both brakes are the newest version)?

    Yes. New version slx deore XT all the same. I run all 3 and it’s great to be able to swap.

    Uber bikes race matrix are the dogs balls by the way. If you haven’t tried them already give them a go.
