    Billy Connolly’s accent in that Queen Victoria film was shocking.

    billy’s accent since about 1990 has been bang out of order! His american adventures seem to have introduced that irritating west end/newton mearns arsehole twang. How ye get that from visiting America is one of life’s mysteries! 😆

    Anyone seen Frontier the drama series on Netflix set in Canada. The Scottish accents are interesting to say the least.

    This thread needs Jamby or the banned ninfan telling us we aren’t a country. Or maybe more non-Scots telling us what term of “endearment” we should expect to be referred to.
