car broke down last weekend, fuel injector pump fitted, fine (except for cost!) garage now discovered one of the fuel injectors is gubbed, checked with audi and they have been recalled. They will be replacing all 4 FOC (normally £500 each) but the cant look at car until next Tuesday!

Should I expect a courtesy car as its really their fault something has failed that they know about, and they cant fix it for a week?

ive gor the mrs on the case as she is good at blagging stuff.

Also, could a duff fuel injector cause the fuel pump to fail?

Audi may sub you a car, but not sure its the dealers’ responsible.

Our passat had those injectors replaced VAG have 70,000 cars to short i believe. Dealer gave us a car no questions asked, car out of warranty period also…. Although thinking on ours wasn’t a breakdown so the car was already booked out to us with the service.
