    Just purchased a Royce bb and am reluctant to spend a further £20 or so on lockrings to match.

    My question is do I need lockrings at all? (and if so does anyone have a left hand thread lockring for sale?!?!?)

    Not normally needed as torque-reaction keeps them tight(unless you have a bearing seize up, which reverses it, and unscrews the cup),mine have been fine without them for many a year.
