    I bought a cheap scott chromo flat bar a while ago and am thinking of replacing it with a cheapish light alu bar, any ideas how much the steel one is likely to weigh?

    I popped a steel one on my bike for a ride once – if I remember correctly it weighed about a pound! Certainly more than 400g anyway. Since changed to alu!
