I’m running oval chainrings (absolute black direct mount) on a couple of bikes and really like them. However, my new bike has Eagle on it. I’d like to try an oval on it but not sure about how they’ll work with eagle chains. The SRAM eagle chainrings are really good, engage with the chain great etc, so not sure how the oval chainrings will compare as it’s the same one as used for SRAM 1×11 stuff.

I could take one off my other bike and just try it but one bike is boost and the other one isn’t.

Has anyone actually tried this combination? Anyone running a non boost chainring with a boost set up?
