Losing patience with my current Rival 22 yaw mech. Having trouble shifting into the big ring (despite setting up as per Sram recommendations) plus the finger force required and lever throw is significant. Since front mechs are relatively cheap was going to give a different mech a go.

I know Shimano and Sram have different actuation ratios on the rear, but it is not so clear about the front. Since it is only a double ring compact crankset, and only one index required, surely it should be possible to trim the set up?
