took my 26er ss with me when we went for a family wedding down in oakhampton 2years ago was told by quite a few on here that it would all end in tears but know what it was ok got up onto the moor a few times during our 2 week stay and yes there was some pushing but thats all part of the fun as far as iam concerned 😀

You could easily set up a set of 2×10 gears in the time it takes to read this thread and make your mind up.

Yes, (ok… at least some of the time 😉 ) – It’s been fine.

That’s set up as 32 x 20, so I spin out on the roads, but that’s a fair trade off for going up stuff sensibly.

I get caught out on the odd sudden / steep climb )or at the end of the day), but I’m relaxed about pushing / carrying bikes these days – it’s all still mucking about outside … 😀
