Plenty of room out back and I guess it would ride ok, might even bring the trail to life!

Isn’t the bottom bracket already on the high side?

I’d be thinking this^; but it does rather depend on what 650b tyres your planning to shove on.

I’m running 26″ Conti’s which are tall anyway, and I limit my Fox 36 fork to 130mm travel to stop the bottom bracket from feeling on the high side. I would not want to do anything that would raise the bottom bracket any more… but that’s just my opinion 🙂

    “Anyone made a Pluepig 650b?”

    Is this really a benefit?

    I can understand 650b & definitely 29″ (as I have one)

But, cramming 650b wheels on a 26″ specific frame – I assume you have to run a narrower tyre (less volume) for clearance……

    = not much gain?

Don’t have a pig but the clearance on the ti and bop are immense so I’m pretty sure it’d go, even with a big tyre. You’d be the only person in the entire bike industry going “Let’s raise the BB!” though, except for Geoff Apps.

You can get a 26″ 2.4 Conti RQ on a 28mm internal rim, out back with room to spare (On a Mk1 BP) that’s any help ?
    Stacks of clearance 😀
