I was going to have the ipod off him then changed my mind, just didn't sit right - was always told you get-owt-for-nowt and £60 just seemed silly cheap. Just as well by the looks of things.
I got caught out on ebay with what looked to be an ok deal on an macbook air, decent feedback etc. Paypal should sort you out though it won't be quick - took about 25 days for me to get my refund...

Hi guys,
I've never used this site before, but I bought some headphones from Peter Armstrong and I found this thread after I Google'd his user name. He hasn't replied to me at all since I paid, and it's been over two weeks ago since I paid him.
I actually thought he was a verified member (meaning you've linked your bank account), but it turns out PayPal's "Premier Member" means something totally different. Nowhere on the payment page did it state he was unverified, it was only after I opened a claim I found out. Just something for the rest of you to note, as I did not know that before.
Hope you guys can get your money back! I know I'll be fighting for mine!
