I have bought and sold quite a bit on here and had generally had fantastic service – often quite amazing levels of helpfulness.

Paid £68 for a rear mech, which Carl said he could post by Tuesday (16th Nov). Nothing received yet, and no response to email.

Another classifieds rant, they are 10 a penny these days.

Not quite, djglover – just some folks trying their best to sort out where their cash has gone. As the 3rd post suggests the world of MTB in not that big and perhaps he could get a gentle prod.

At the very least, this sort of post should make others very wary of sending large sums to unknown people on trust.

He’s a moderator on southerndownhil, I doubt he’d scam anyone. For what its worth, my mate bought a dh frame off him last year and had no problems whatsoever

My cassette has arrived! Whoo hoo.

He was awful to deal with. Brought some 661 Kyle Straits off him and he did what you guys said above, after a month of hassling him I finally received them and not quite in the condition described.

Hang in there, and yes he’s a moderator on SDH which is why it’s more disappointing that he’s not a good seller.
