Oven not working.
Not happy.

Tried the fuses in the fusebox and at the plug, but both ok.

Explain in more detail what is not working.
Totally dead – no light / fan / element?
Or is the light / fan working, and just not heating up?
You say it is on a plug?
And that fuse and the socket outlet are both working correctly?
If so, then it sounds like the oven needs to be taken apart to see if either the dial switch has failed, or has other failed parts inside it.

Turned it on, all seemed ok for about 20 seconds – light on, fan on etc.
Then light, fan and heating element all packed in at once.

Main fuses in fusebox all working – 13 amp fuse in plug still working, gas ingitor on hob still working.

Oven light, element and fan all kaput.

It’s a Beko.
Was in the house when we bought it.

A bad connection internally, or , the main switch has broken would be my first guesses.

The ignitor may not be electronic, it could be a piezo crystal ignitor that doesnt needs power.

I’d be tempted to take off the back cover, see if there are any obvious loose wires, or burnt components, if not, I’d be googling for a new cooker.

A full size cooker fed from a plug?
Or is it electric oven, gas hob?

No electrician will come out for that unless you agree to pay them for the time.

My first guess would be the element, our Zanussi oven eats them. When it goes fan and light don’t work either. Usually easy enough to replace yourself. Theres an electrical shop in Barrowford who we get them from, very helpful.

Gas hob, electric fan oven.

Gas ignitors only work when oven plugged in, so the unit is getting power.
Will have another look tonight.
