    The words blood and stone spring to mind. Get ready to jump though some hoops but you should be fine eventually, but it depends on what the issue is.
    I think most car manufacturers are a bit tricky nowadays.

    how old is it / mileage? the approved used bit may be irrelevant

    Theres only one warranty anygood,& thats the original one the car came with,so if its been serviced by a franchised dealer,@ the correct time or mileage & still within 3 years old & under the manufacturers stipulated mileage,youve got a chance,with most things..all the others will wriggle..

    Unless you can prove,or a garage can prove,its not down to wear & tear,youre gunna struggle,& nearly always,you’ll have to pay for the labour,& they cover the parts,so sometimes youre better off doing the job yourself,they do know this !,do not whatever you do,take it to a garage,& say its under warranty get on with it,because by saying that youre authorising them to start work & you’ll be liable for the full amount,its a long slog usually with an independant Co,but let the garage get the authorisation for you,but i bet youll have to pay for the labour…
