Fancy giving myself some inspiration again, and an incentive to get saving for a base van!

There is something called the self build club, there are quite a few on there, links to blogs and photos of builds etc.

I’m still searching for the right van, converted or otherwise. What is really holding up the whole project is a distinct lack of disposable income…….. 🙁

I’m in the same situation as you, I had a van all lined up to buy (merc 709) but then had to pull out as a change in situation means I will probably be moving back London in the next 6 months so have to consider LEZ requirements.
