    Planning on doing the C2C on the weekend of the 24th/27th September.
    Catching the train from York to Whitehaven on the 24th and we are looking @ leaving the van in York, somewhere out of the way and safe and bikeable to the train station would be ideal.
    Planning on catching the train from Scarborough to York on the Monday evening probable the 19.47.
    So any one out there give us some idea on free parking!
    Can you park in the park and ride all weekend for free?

    email me and I'll have a word see if you can use our car park at work – couple of minutes by bike from train station

    If you get really stuck Rich, let me know and I'll see if you can leave the van at my parents up on Clifton Moor… about 20 minutes ride to the station.
