I am having some issues that I need to find a solicitor to deal with north of the border. My ex was supposed to arrange an access centre in Glasgow for me to visit my daughter whom I have never met (we split when she was – unbeknownst to me – 4 months pregnant). The access centre was agreed at mediation, but she has done nothing about it – I can’t as, apparently, it has to be the resident parent who does so.

So – looking for a solicitor to progress things through the legal channels with some kind of shared parenting order or similar with the aim being to get my daughter down here for a good proportion of each year.

    Anyone able to help?

    No?

Found some folks in Dumfries, but would take recommendations if there isn’t someone practising on here!

Not a Solicitor, but if you want a recommendation I’ve used Drummond Miller for a number of legal issues in the past, from conveyancing to estates, based in Edinburgh and Glasgow and have always been very good.
