I’ll be spending some time in Brighouse (Ratrick) and was wondering whats about the area, looks hilly enough to me 😆

Lots of riding locally and there’s a number of groups ride various evenings.

There’s a couple of us ride most Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting from Raistrick doing around 20 miles.

I’m sure there be others along soon with lots of advice, but let me know if you want to tag along.

    Loads of good riding.

The woods that drop down from Southawram towards Elland have something for everyone. Copley/North Dean too. And Norland Moor rides well in most weather.

We are down that way at least once a month on a wed evening if you need a ride.

There used to be a group ride from VS Cycles, but I’m not sure it’s still running – you could ring them and ask.

There’s decent woods on both sides of the valley towards Elland, and from there you can get over towards Barkisland on several routes. Once there your options really open up in most directions.
