Should be close to centre or short walk please. Doesn’t have to be a steak but colleague’s been talking about having a steak all day and now I bloody fancy one myself. 🙂

    Appreciate any suggestions. Cheers.

There’s a Gaucho’s on Park Row. Close to the centre. Supposedly very very good steaks. Not cheap though.

Budget’s not going to stretch to a Gaucho’s this evening I think. 😐

Was thinking more pub to be honest.

Me in Leeds would have to go to the Midnight Bell or if you dont fancy the walk then try the Brewery Taps. Thats if your looking for a good pint and good food not to pricey.

Judging by the recent news reports about Yorkshire Abattoirs you’ll be able to pick up a decent, locally sourced horse steak, no bother 😉

River Plate down on the Calls is nice and so is Red True Barbeque.

Gaucho is overpriced and lacks atmosphere in that kind of shallow, souless, look at me way expensive chains tend to be.

McDonald’s then to Tapps for a pint.

Then if you want to go a bit footballers wives for a drink after go to the sky bar at the top of the hilton doubletree hotel. Worth it for the views

@ imnotamused & patriotpro, thanks for the recommendation for The Hop. Just finished pie&mash&peas + pint for a fiver! Bargain! Enjoying the Osset Brewery beers lots too.

If you walk back out into the main road and passed the Hilton you come across The Grove for a great pint or two. Then cross in front of Asda building to walk over to the Adelphi. Then it’s Mr Foleys or the North Bar if your heading back up town. Finish with a cocktail at Mojo’s if you’ve any room left 🙂

Glad you’re enjoying it, sounds lovely. Can second Mugboo’s North Bar but it’s a 20 min walk from where you are.

Cross Keys is close by for a couple of pints of Leeds best. Just watch out for the canal if you’ve had a few.
