  • Any recommendations for 180mm brakes?

    I have Shimano slx 160mm brakes and feel they are not powerful enough. Can anyone recommend 180mm brakes?

    As above, just run SLX with bigger rotors. Plenty strong enough.

    I use my SLX with 203mm rotors and they seem really powerful.

    I’ve just fitted SLX with 180mm rotors and am very pleased with the power.

    just fitted SLX with 203mm up front and 180mm at the back. They are strong enough to tear up tarmac. If you fit big rotors and still dont have enough power they may just need a bleed

    Thanks I’ll try the bigger rotors first because the brakes are fairly new
