Why are so many full builds coming with SRAM these days? It’s a genuine PITA for those of us who hate the stuff.

agreed colin , sram really do make some crap these days.

brake pistons out of brittle pish , shifters that dont like mud and are full of plastic self destructing shear pins.

gave my last sram bits away to rusty mac on here.

I’m just glad 99% of folk don’t feel the need to stick all their stuff up in the bike forum before taking it to the classifieds.

Any SRAM speccing on a new bike is a cost cutting exercise for the manufacturer. It’s cheap OE, but then the consumer pays later with OTT aftermarket prices. Mad innit!
